How much are tickets, and where can I buy them?

Visit our ticketing page to purchase advance tickets. Gates open at 2 PM. Match begins at 3 PM and goes on until approximately 5 PM. Tickets will be available for purchase at the gate as well, but please note certain types of tickets, such as reserved tailgate tents and cabanas, have a limited quantity available per weekend. (Please note that, for reasons of safety, spectators are not permitted to bring their own shade tents or beach umbrellas to the matches.)

How do I get to the polo field?

When you arrive at Bethpage State Park, or any NYS Park, you will come to a ticket booth where you you will be asked to pay the mandatory $8.00 NYS Vehicle Use Fee. If you plan on attending the polo matches throughout the season, we recommend that you purchase a NYS Empire Pass from NYS. You can then enter the park for no additional cost other than the cost of the Empire Pass. For Empire Pass purchasing information, please call (518) 474-0458 or click here to visit the website. After paying at the toll booth, you can make an immediate right into the polo field.

 

Directions From L.I.E.

Take the L.I.E. to exit 44 (NY 135) south to exit 8 (Powell Avenue). At top of ramp, turn left and the Bethpage State Park entrance is a short distance ahead on the left, just after the northbound ramp for NY 135.

 

Directions From Northern State Parkway

Take the Northern State Parkway to exit 36A (NY 135) south toward Seaford. Then take exit 8 (Powell Avenue) toward Bethpage. At the top of the ramp, turn left and the Bethpage State Park entrance is a short distance on the left, just after the northbound ramp for NY 135

 

Directions From Southern State Parkway

Take the Southern State Parkway to exit 31 (Bethpage State Parkway); take the parkway to its end and exit the traffic circle at the left. Look for park entrance a short distance ahead on the right.

 

Directions From LIRR

Tickets can be purchased at any ticket counter or ticket machine at any train station. Ask at the booth or look for the MTA getaways for Polo, Golf and Tennis at Bethpage State Park. Your ticket will take you to the Farmingdale train station where you can get a taxi which is included in the price of $26.25. You should call the taxi cab (Long Island Yellow Cab) at 516-249-1212 after purchasing the tickets. Please be aware that multiple tickets/vouchers will print; LIRR RAIL tickets will print last. What do I do when I arrive?

Go to the Bethpage State Park ticket booth where you will be asked to pay a Mandatory $8.00 NYS Vehicle Use Fee. Note: This is NOT A PARKING FEE! After the booth, the polo field is an immediate right.

What is your refund policy?

Tickets are valid only for the date specified on the ticket. In the event of a cancellation, tickets for that date will be honored on a subsequent Sunday. Matches may be cancelled if weather is severe, but often still take place on days with light rain; on days where a match is played, there will be no refunds or substitutions. Please follow us on Facebook for up-to-the-minute game day updates and cancellations.

Can I sing the national anthem at a polo event?

Yes! We’re always looking for talented singers to perform the Star Spangled Banner before a match. Submit your application below and please keep your rendition close to 90 seconds in length.
